Mkhitaryan could leave Dortmund; Kurzawa coy on exit talk

hot-transfer-newsMkhitaryan could leave Dortmund

German daily newspaper Bild has suggested that Borussia Dortmund could cash in on Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the summer.

The Armenian midfielder enjoyed a good start to his career in Germany, but has been utterly disappointing this term, having failed to manage a single goal or assist in 13 league outings.

And with his current contract due to expire in June 2017, chances are that Borussia will listen to offers for his services next summer.

Italian giants Juventus appear to be leading the chase having confirmed their interest in his services, but few more top clubs are likely to be in the mix as well.

Mkhitaryan arrived at BVB as a replacement for Mario Gotze, and he in turn scored 9 goals in 44 Bundesliga appearances.

Borussia Dortmund host Augbsurg later today hoping to finally leave the relegation zone, with home win paying 4/9.

Kurzawa coy on exit talk

Monaco starlet Layvin Kurzawa has refused to reject speculation linking him with a summer exit from Stade Louis II.

The talented full-back is believed to be on the radar of Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain, and some reports claimed that he had even met with the Citizens representatives.

Kurzawa has since denied the rumours, but he is clearly aware of the interest in his services and plans to leave Monaco for greener pastures in the future.

“Sure, I am reflecting on my career choices. I will no doubt leave Monaco one day, but I don’t know when,” the 22-year-old told L’Equipe.

The youngster has come through the youth ranks at Monaco and went on to make 58 league appearances for the club.

Kurzawa has so far earned two France caps, featuring in November friendlies against Albania and Sweden.

Sao Paulo confirm bid for Marseille’s Doria

Brazilian giants Sao Paulo have moved to confirm they have submitted an official proposal for Marseille defender Doria.

Tricolor have expressed their interest in signing the talented defender and they hope to recruit him on a six-month loan.

They have in turn come forward with an official bid, but Sao Paulo vice-president Ataide Gil Guerreiro has revealed Marseille would prefer an outright sale.

“OM wanted to sell outright for €8.7 million and we want him on loan until the end of the Libertadores (six months),” Guerreiro said at a press conference.

“Our offer is still on the table, but we have no definitive answer.”

Doria has failed to make a single appearance for Marseille since joining from Botafogo in the summer and he is almost certain to leave Stade Velodrome this winter.

Sporting Lisbon and clubs from Russia are also showing interest in the 20-year-old centre-back, who made six outings for the reserves this season.
