NAC Breda have agreed a season-long loan deal with Chelsea for young striker Stipe Perica.

Perica, who only joined Chelsea on August 2, will move to the Eredivisie side with immediate effect and form part of the striking options available to manager Nebojsa Gudelj.

The move caps a whirlwind year for the 18-year-old Croat, who made his professional debut for FK Zadar in September 2012.

His 10 goals in 23 games for the Croatian side caught the attention of Chelsea, who agreed a deal to take him to Stamford Bridge.

NAC technical manager Jeffrey van As was delighted to have captured the striker and expected him to add something different to their squad.

“He is a different kind of type of striker than we already have,” he told the club’s official website.

NAC are yet to win in the Eredivisie this season, with just one point and one goal from their opening three matches.
