Ospina set for Fenerbache switch

The Express understands that Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina is set to secure a move to Fenerbache, with Petr Cech closing in on a switch to the Gunners.

The Chelsea shot-stopper has been strongly linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium ever since he announced that he was set to leave Stamford Bridge despite Arsene Wenger already having two international keepers in his squad, in the shape of Ospina and Wojciech Szczesny.

However the former, who kept a clean sheet as Colombia beat Brazil in the Copa America in the early hours of Thursday morning, could be heading out of the North London club after just one year in England.

Since signing from Ligue One side Nice last July, the 26 year old has racked up twenty-two appearances in all competitions, but was an unused substitute as his side beat Aston Villa in last month’s FA Cup final at Wembley.
