Park agrees PSV return

QPR midfielder Ji-Sung Park is set to return to PSV Eindhoven, Dutch newspaper Voetbal International has learned.

The 32-year-old arrived in Eindhoven yesterday to undergo a medical at Philips Stadium and bar any setbacks the transfer will be finalized later today.

Park arrives at his former club on a free transfer after his current employers agreed to cancel his contract with one year to go.

The Korean becomes club’s fourth major signing of the summer, following in the footsteps of Adam Maher, Stijn Schaars and Jeffrey Bruma.

It was at PSV Eindhoven that the versatile midfielder made a name for himself, scoring 13 goals in 65 Eredivisie appearances since joining the club from Kyoto Purple Sanga.

Scintillating showings in Dutch Eredivisie helped him earn a lucrative move to Old Trafford, where he spent seven seasons, making a total of 205 competitive appearances and winning four Premier League titles in the process.
