Croatia winger Ivan Perisic feels his team will be ready for the challenge of Spain in their final Euro 2012 Group C game.

Slaven Bilic’s side have four points from their opening two games following an impressive 3-1 win against the Republic of Ireland and a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Italy.

And Perisic is now looking forward to their final group game against the holders, and is in a confident mood, believing his side will be a decent match for Spain.

“There is so many options and Spain were already leading after the opening 10 minutes (against Ireland) from what I have seen,” the 23 year-old told reporters.

“We are both great teams and everybody needs to focus on their (own) team, and try to win to be sure to avoid any (goal difference) calculation.

“Spain are not favourites and I thought Italy were better than them in the first game, and we will be prepared for the game after the analysis of videos and tactics we will do later in the week.”

Perisic was happy with his own performance against Italy and believed his team were much improved in the second half.

However, the Borussia Dortmund man was still aware of the need for improvement in his own and the team’s performance in the next match against Spain.

“We changed some positions between midfielders, did some rotations at half-time and the result was our much better performance in the second half,” Perisic said.

“I didn’t have any problems in the game, maybe in the first half I was more about defending and helping the left back but I think I played good that way.

“I tackled a lot, I tried to help in the back and we did good job on my side. I have to make more in attack which is something I know, use the ball better.

“We have enough quality players up front, it’s not just me and I know that we can play better.”
