French daily newspaper L’Equipe has learned that French giants Paris Saint-Germain are seriously considering a move for Wolfsburg midfielder Kevin de Bruyne.

The 23-year-old has been in scintillating form since joining from Chelsea last January, helping the Wolves climb to second in German Bundesliga.

Reports from England suggested Manchester City were keeping close tabs on the talented footballer, while L’Equipe claims PSG are keen as well.

Laurent Blanc is a big fan of the Belgian midfielder and he is eager to lure him to Parc des Princes, although he will probably have to cash in on Ezequiel Lavezzi or Adrien Rabiot first.

Kevin de Bruyne started each of Wolfsburg’s 17 league fixtures this term and managed 3 goals and 10 assists in the process.

Following the impressive start to the league campaign, the Wolves are just 1/10 to achieve a top 4 finish in Bundesliga.

Schalke lead chase for Stindl

Ruhr Nachrichten is reporting that Schalke are stepping up their efforts to sign Hannover captain Lars Stindl.

The Miners chiefs have promised star striker Klaas Jan Huntelaar two high-profile signings and it appears the 96ers star will be one of them.

According to Ruhr Nachrichten, Schalke have already agreed personal terms with the 26-year-old midfielder and they hope to complete the transfer in the January window.

With his contract due to expire in June 2016, Stindl will be available for mere €3 million in the summer, but the Miners would prefer to add him to their ranks this winter.

Another problem is that the likes of Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia M’gladbach and Hoffenheim are also keen on the highly rated midfielder.

Lars Stindl has spent last four and a half years at Hannover, making 117 Bundesliga appearances and scoring 12 goals.

Juan Forlin extends Boca stay

Argentine giants Boca Juniors have confirmed that defender Juan Forlin has had his loan deal extended for another six months.

La Bombonera graduate returned to the club on a year-long loan from Al Rayyan last January, but the club chiefs have managed to negotiate a six-month extension.

On top of that, Forlin will be allowed to remain with Boca for few more weeks in case La Xeneize enter the final stages of Copa Libertadores.

Boca general secretary Jose Requejo confirmed the news in an interview with Radio AM 1050.

“Forlin will continue at Boca,” Requejo was quoted as saying.

Juan Forlin had left Boca Juniors in the summer of 2009 to sign for Espanyol, and he enjoyed several successive seasons in Catalunya, making 106 La Liga appearances.

He was surprisingly sold to Al Rayyan in July 2013, but only went on to make eight league outings for the Qatari side.
