Portuguese newspaper A Bola has learned that Real Betis are considering a January bid for Belenenses winger Fredy.
The 23-year-old was one of star performers last season as his side clinched a return to the elite division and he has continued with scintillating showings in the top flight.
After impressing in the 1-1 draw with FC Porto, Fredy is being linked with a January switch to Real Betis.
The La Liga side have been keeping close tabs on the talented forward for a while now, and they are ready to make their interest concrete as soon as the transfer window reopens in the winter.
Nevertheless, Real Betis face an uphill task as the player’s current employers are reportedly only interested in selling their prized asset at the end of the season.
Fredy, who has a contract until June 2015, has spent his entire career with Belenenses, scoring a total of 12 goals in 100 league appearances.
