Real Madrid welcome Napoli to the Santiago Bernabeu in the first leg of the Champions League last-16 this evening, and are big favourites to win the home game to earn an aggregate lead ahead of the second leg to come at the Stadio San Paolo.
Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid side reach the last-16 of the Champions League this season after finishing second in Group F with 12 points from a possible 18. Real remained unbeaten in their six group games in the competitions, and are coming of the back of three wins and a draw from their last four.
As for the visitors, Napoli have made it this far in Europe after winning Group B with 11 points. The Italian Serie A outfit haven’t lost a game in any competition since October, boasting 11 wins and two draws from their last 13. Napoli have won five of their last six away from home, but Real are no slouches.
Los Blancos have won five of their last six home games in all competitions ahead of tonight’s meeting, and Bet 365 are giving odds of 11/20 for the Spaniards to come out on top as a result.
