Real Madrid have reportedly reached an agreement to sign talented midfielder Marco Asensio from Real Mallorca, Marca can reveal.
While luring a number of world-class footballers to Santiago Bernabeu in recent years, los Blancos are also looking towards the future.
After snatching Dutch midfielder Mink Peeters from Ajax, Real Madrid are on the verge of signing Mallorca wonderkid Marco Asensio.
A €3.5 million deal has already been agreed with the Segunda side, with the 18-year-old expected to arrive in the January transfer window.
Oddly enough, Marco Asensio was on the verge of joining Barcelona in the summer, but the transfer fell through at the last minute.
The youngster has since largely impressed playing for Mallorca in Spain’s second tier, having managed 3 goals and 6 assists in 13 league starts.
