Cristiano Ronaldo has never hidden his desire to one day play for Real Madrid and ever since he first opened his mouth on the subject, the Santiago Bernabeu outfit have pestered Manchester United about the sale of their young, talented winger.
Now Ronaldo could be the subject of a more concrete bid from Real Madrid. The English media has reported that Ramon Calderon could make an offer of about £64 million to tempt Manchester United into selling while Spanish tabloid Marca reckons that Robinho could also be part of any proposed deal.
Cristiano Ronaldo has been in blistering form this season scoring 42 goals and helping his club to two major trophies. Now it can be understood why Manchester United will be so desperate to keep their star player who has recently announced that he will sign a new contract next week despite having four year left to run on his current deal.
