AS Roma and AC Milan are locked in the battle for Lille forward Salomon Kalou, Le 10 Sport has revealed.
While les Dogues are hoping to keep hold of their star player, they might be forced to cash in on the Ivorian due to a difficult financial situation.
And with Kalou likely to be available for as little as €4 million, AS Roma and AC Milan seem ready to pounce.
With Adem Ljajic looking to leave the club and Francesco Totti not getting any younger, the Giallorossi believe the former Chelsea star would be a very good addition to the squad.
Meanwhile, AC Milan are expected to make a move on the forward in case Adel Taarabt or Kaka quit San Siro.
Salomon Kalou, 28, has kick started his career in France, bagging 27 goals in 63 Ligue 1 appearances for les Dogues.
Having defeated Bordeaux to virtually secure the final Champions League berth, Lille have been made 10/11 favourites to win at Bastia.
