Sakho edges closer to Milan move; Marseille in new bid for Thauvin

Paris Saint-Germain defender Mamadou Sakho could be joining AC Milan before the summer transfer window is over, L’Equipe reports.

The Rossoneri have made signing a high-profile centre-back their priority and they are set to make a move on the France international.

Milan will have a chance to sign the highly rated defender on a cut-price deal seeing as how his contract at Parc des Princes is due to expire in a year’s time.

Mamadou Sakho has already made it clear that he wants out after the lack of regular playing time saw him drop out of the France squad.

The 23-year-old was left out of the PSG squad for the weekend’s game against Nantes, which is enough to suggest he is nearing closer to summer exit.

Despite his fragile age, Sakho has already amassed 151 Ligue 1 appearances, while earning 14 France caps up to date.

Marseille in new bid for Thauvin

Marseille have submitted a new and improved offer for Lille midfielder Florian Thauvin, L’Equipe has revealed.

The French giants have been attempting to sign the talented footballer since the summer transfer window started, but haven’t had a lot of success.

However, after their previous offer of €5.5 million was rejected, they have returned with a seriously improved bid.

According to L’Equipe, Marseille have offered €8m up front plus another €2m in performances related bonuses, and this should give Lille chiefs a real food for thought.

Despite arriving at Grand Stade Lille Metropole in January, Thauvin has yet to make his first appearance for the club, having spent last six months on loan at Bastia.

He took part in his first training session with les Dogues last week after recovering from injury, but it looks as though he could leave Lille without getting a chance to showcase his skills.

Tadic coy on Dinamo interest

Twente winger Dusan Tadic has admitted that he is prepared to consider an offer from Dinamo Moscow.

The Russian giants are believed to be leading the chase for the Serbian midfielder as they hope to create a squad capable of challenging for the Russian Premier League title.

Having already signed Douglas, Aleksandr Kokorin, Igor Denisov and Yuri Zhirkov, among others, the Russians are set to make a move on Dusan Tadic.

One of Eredivisie’s top midfielders admits he would seriously consider any offer that arrives for his services.

“I do not say ‘no’ in advance. You now say Dinamo Moscow are interested, I know nothing official yet, so I do not say anything, but I am also not ruling out,” Tadic told NUsport.

Dusan Tadic, 24, has developed into a key player at Twente shortly after arriving from Groningen and has so far managed 16 goals and 19 assists in 40 Eredivisie appearances for the Tukkers.
