Looking to carry on their stellar run of form, Brian Schmetzer’s Seattle side will look to shore up their push for the playoffs when they travel to a struggling Portland side on Monday.

Although Giovanni Savarese’s Portland side were tipped as one of the leading contenders in the West, they have drastically begun to struggle. As for Seattle, The Sounders have now turned themselves into the MLS’ in-form side following a poor start to the season. Coming off the back of hammering LA Galaxy 5-0, The Greens have now won their last six matches on the bounce and have not lost a match since the end of June. Scoring 16 in their six-match winning run, one man to watch for the visitors will be top scorer Nicolás Lodeiro, the 29-year-old now has two in his last two.
