La Liga high-flyers Sevilla are weighing up a late move on Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot, according to L’Equipe.
Los Rojiblancos were hoping to recruit Argentine veteran Lucho Gonzalez, but the loan deal ultimately fell through, forcing the club to explore other targets.
L’Equipe has learned that PSG’s Adrien Rabiot has become their number one priority, with Sevilla having some day and a half to try and close the deal.
In case the 19-year-old moves to La Liga, the Saints will step up interest in Manchester United starlet Andreas Pereira.
Rabiot is apparently not the only player on Sevilla’s radar, with los Rojiblancos also looking at Gregory Sertic and Etienne Capoue.
And while les Girondins are not prepared to let their star player leave, Tottenham may be prepared to listen to offers for the French midfielder.
After suffering a 3-1 loss in the first leg of the Copa del Rey quarter-finals against Espanyol, Sevilla are 4/7 to win the return match.
