The French first division match between second-placed Lille and Lorient was postponed on Saturday due to heavy snow in northern France.

Victory for the hosts would have taken them above champions Marseille, who visit Nice on Sunday, at the top of the table.

Rennes, fifth, will now take over at the top if they beat struggling Monaco.

A meeting at Lille will take place on Sunday morning to decide if the match against Lorient can be played on Sunday afternoon or if it will have to be postponed until a later date.
