Speroni considering move abroad

Crystal Palace goalkeeper Julian Speroni has emerged as a target for a number of clubs in Italy, according to the Mirror.

The Argentine was one of the standout performers for the Eagles during the 2013/14 campaign, helping them keep twelve clean sheets, and to an eleven place finish in the Premier League.

He appeared in all but one of his sides league games, with manager Tony Pulis handing back-up Wayne Hennesey his debut against Fulham on Sunday afternoon.

His form has even seen calls for him to be recognised internationally, with his one and only cap so far coming for the U20s in 1999.

Speroni has been at Selhurst Park for ten years having signed from Dundee, and he has made 321 league appearances during that time.

Torino, Sampdoria, Sassuolo and Fiorentina have all been linked with a move for the 34 year old, as have Leicester City, who could lose their first choice shot-stopper Kasper Schmeichel this summer.
