With Germany striker Thomas Muller adding to his goal tally to take him just one goal behind Colombia’s James Rodriguez, he’ll be holding out hope of finishing as the tournament top goalscorer. The Bayern Munich striker has five goals and three assists from this summer’s World Cup and if he can net in the final to come in the next few days he’ll have matched Rodriguez’s six goals.

Muller has been in inspired form this summer, and has only failed to score or make an assist in one of his six World Cup games played. As a result, Coral are backing the 24-year-old with odds of 10/11 to finish as the top goalscorer in the World Cup due to the chances of him scoring in the final.

Germany beat Brazil 7-1 in the semi-finals, and Muller scored once last night, but his form is leading many to believe he can register in the final to boost his chance of being the top scorer again, after winning the 2010 World Cup Golden Boot.
