Tottenham 4/5 to win away to Asteras Tripolis in the Europa League this evening

Tottenham have been horribly inconsistent in the Premier League, but they are in good form in Europe. The Londoners, managed by former Saints boss Mauricio Pochettino, have picked up five points from their first three games in the Europa League, and a win tonight could put them top of Group C.

Asteras Tripolis are their opponents tonight, and lost 5-1 when they travelled to face Spurs at White Hart Lane a fortnight ago, so they won’t be too confident this evening. Tottenham do have a fairly easy group to navigate out of, with Besiktas, Asteras and Partizan to beat.

Pochettino’s side have picked up draws against Partizan and Besiktas, but they need to be ruthless now to keep the pressure on first-place.

William Hill are backing Spurs with odds of 4/5 to earn all three points against their Greek opponents, which could see them at the summit if they can better the result of Besiktas. Tottenham will face Besiktas in December, so they will have an opportunity to top their group if they miss out on three points today.
