Trezeguet keen on Champions League glory

French striker David Trezeguet wants to help Juventus win the Champions League this season.

The former Monaco ace is currenly in rehabilitation after having had surgery on a knee tendon problem he suffered in September.

It is expected that Trezeguet will be back in the New Year.

“I had two really bad months,” Trezeguet told Tuttosport.

“But I have finally been reunited with my teammates and that will fire me up.

“I want to get back on the pitch and I am extremely happy that Juve have progressed in the Champions League.

“The Champions League is the best competition to play in and I want to be fully fit to contribute to the European cause.”
