Manchester United are rumoured to be showing interest in Feyenoord midfielder Jordy Clasie, according to Record.
The talented footballer has been in fine form this season and has in turn seen his name linked with a host of high-profile clubs.
It is no longer a secret that Fiorentina and Arsenal are hoping to add the 21-year-old to their ranks in the summer, bur Record claims that Manchester United have also joined the race.
Given that Anderson is tipped to leave Old Trafford at the end of the current campaign, Sir Alex Ferguson is determined to sign another central midfielder for the 2013/2014 season.
He has been reportedly impressed by Clasie and is hoping to lure him to Old Trafford in the summer.
Clasie, who has featured in four of Netherlands’ six 2014 World Cup qualifiers, recently admitted he was tempted by the prospect of joining a top European club at the end of the campaign.
