Valencia agree deal for Daniel Wass

Spanish media has learned that Valencia have reached an agreement to sign Celta Vigo midfielder Daniel Wass.

A €7 million proposal has reportedly been accepted by the Sky Blues, who had to accept a cut-price deal as the player’s contract was due to expire in June 2019.

Looking for a new challenge, Daniel Wass was tempted by the prospect of playing Champions League football at Mestalla, with Valencia having secured a top 4 finish in La Liga.

Daniel Wass has spent last three years at Balaidos having joined from Evian, making 101 La Liga appearances and scoring 9 goals.

The Denmark international has mostly been used as a central midfielder at Celta Vigo, while he also operated as a right-back and right winger in the past.
