Valencia eyeing Demba Ba

Valencia are set to launch an assault on Chelsea striker Demba Ba, reports English newspaper Metro.

Los Che have struggled to recover from a number of important departures this summer and currently sit in 12th place having lost the last three fixtures.

The club officials haven’t been impressed by Helder Postiga, who had been signed to replace Roberto Soldado, and they are reportedly readying bid for Demba Ba.

It is believed los Che are prepared to offer around £7 million for the player who has been deemed surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge.

The 28-year-old has only made two Premier League appearances this season and everything suggests he will be leaving the club at the earliest opportunity.

Ba has fallen behind Fernando Torres and Samuel Eto’o in the pecking order at Stamford Bridge and he is well aware that he will have to quit Chelsea in search of first team football.
