Danish midfielder Thomas Kahlenberg will make a move to German champions VfL Wolfsburg this summer. The player makes the switch from French side AJ Auxerre.
“I am happy that I will be playing for Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga, 26-year-old Kahlenberg said on the club’s official site. “I hope that I can be of use for the team to remain at the top of the Bundesliga and play an important part in the Champions League.”
Kahlenberg joined Auxerre from Brondby in 2005 and scored 18 goals in 101 appearances since.
In 2003, the player made his debut for the Danish national team, for which he earned 26 caps since.
