1st December: Sunday’s European Accumulator – 7/1

With a Sunday afternoon that is filled with footballing action from across Europe’s top-tiers, we here at Soccer News have found a handful of helpful tips that can boost your weekend acca:

Sunday 1st December

BST 11:00 Sevilla vs Leganes

Starting with Sunday’s hosts, booking their spot in the knockout stage of this year’s Europa League in some style after winning all five of their Group A matchups, Sevilla find themselves enjoying quite the resurge. Opening the weekend as high as third and knowing that three points could see them briefly leapfrog both Real Madrid and Barcelona to top spot, Los Nervionenses find themselves in the midst of a four-match winning run across all competitions and Julen Lopetegui’s men are enjoying a remarkable nine-match unbeaten run that stems back to the 6th of October. With a Champions League return firmly on their agenda, the former Spain boss will be most impressed by his side’s continued success at the Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán. Unbeaten in their last seven matches on home soil and winning six of those contests, Sevilla should be confident of extending their recent purple patch this weekend. As for Sunday’s guests despite putting in a plucky display against Barcelona last time out, Leganes still find themselves sat rock-bottom of the La Liga standings and are already eight points adrift of safety. Recording just a single victory this season and failing to win any of their seven away matches across all competitions, we’re backing a comfortable home victory this weekend.

Tip: Sevilla win and under 3.5 goals @ 21/20

14:00 Inter Milan vs SPAL

Keeping their Champions League knockout ambitions alive in midweek with a thumping 3-1 win away at Slavia Praha on Wednesday night, Inter Milan have continued to shine since appointing former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte. Opening the weekend just a single point adrift of league leaders Juventus, I Nerazzurri have won each of their last three matches across all formats and they’re also enjoying a four-match winning run while on Serie A duties. With their sights set on mounting a title charge this season, one man who has continued to shine for Inter this season has been Argentina starlet, Lautaro Martinez. Forming a very eye-catching partnership with Romelu Lukaku, the 22-year-old once again bagged a brace on foreign soil in midweek and has now recorded nine goals in his last 10 matches for the Italian giants. Given SPAL’s continued issues at the foot of the table, Inter and Martinez should be confident of extending their winning run this weekend. Despite landing back-to-back draws against Genoa and Udinese, Sunday’s guests open the weekend down in 19th and at the heart of a real relegation scrap. Now in the midst of a six-match winless run, Leonardo Semplici will be most concerned by his side’s issues on the road. Losing five of their six Serie A matches away from the Stadio Paolo Mazza, it should also be noted that SPAL are yet to record a single strike on the road entering December.

Tip: Inter Milan win and Lautaro Martinez to score anytime @ 6/5

16:30 Leicester vs Everton

Two sides enduring battles at opposite ends of the Premier League table, Leicester should see Everton’s visit to the King Power this weekend as a golden opportunity to extend on their stellar run of form. Opening the weekend sat second and only behind league leaders Liverpool, Brendan Rodgers’ side landed a 2-0 win over Brighton at the Amex last weekend and the Foxes find themselves in the midst of a five-match winning run. With their sights firmly set on landing a Champions League return this season, the former Celtic boss will be growing more impressed by his side’s continued success in the final third. Led by Jamie Vardy who has already bagged 12 Premier League goals this season and leads the race for the Golden Boot, only defending champions Manchester City can boast a better-attacking record entering December. Still flying high after their stunning 9-0 victory away at Southampton last month, there is no doubt that the Foxes will be looking to make another statement this weekend. As for Everton, after suffering a humiliating 2-0 defeat at home against relegation scrappers Norwich last weekend and booed off by the Goodison Park faithful, many believe that this will be Marco Silva’s last match in charge. Opening the weekend down in 16th, the Blues have also lost four of their last five top-flight matches on the road and Sunday should prove to be another long afternoons work.

Tip: Leicester win and over 1.5 goals @ 20/21
