With a hectic Christmas period on the horizon, teams from across the U.K. will be looking to gain an early advantage. With a busy Wednesday of action ahead, we here at Soccer News have found a handful of helpful tips that can boost your midweek acca:

Wednesday 5th December

BST 20:00 Manchester United vs Arsenal

Starting with Wednesday’s visitors, enjoying a very impressive resurge under Unai Emery, Arsenal’s 4-2 win over Tottenham in Sunday’s north London derby has now extended the Gunners’ unbeaten run to 19 games, a run that stems back to August. Given United’s woeful start to the season, the former PSG boss should be confident of extending their run. Coming off the back of another lackluster showing in their 2-2 draw with Southampton, Jose Mourinho’s side are without a win in their last three league outings and now sit eight points adrift of the top four. Most worrying for the Reds, they have now recorded just one clean sheet in their last 10. One man who will be relishing the chance to face off against a struggling United defence will be Premier League leading goalscorer Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Scoring 10 goals, including a brace against Spurs over the weekend, the 29-year-old is also averaging also a goal per game and now has 23 in his last 31 appearances. While Arsenal have failed to win any of their last 11 meetings at Old Trafford, we’re backing the Gunners to break their Manchester duck and come away with the three points on Wednesday.

Tip: Away win @ 2/1

19:45 Wolves vs Chelsea

Appearing to battle back from suffering their first defeat under Maurizio Sarri at Wembley a fortnight ago, Chelsea are still enjoying a very bright start to life under the former Napoli boss. Coming off the back of a 2-0 win over Fulham on Sunday, the Blues have only tasted defeat once this season and will have their sights set on securing a return to Champions League football. Most impressing the new Chelsea boss will be their form in the final third. Picking up another assist over the weekend, Belgium talisman Eden Hazard has been directly involved in 12 Premier League goals this season, only Raheem Sterling has a better return. As for Wolves, the arrival of the former champions couldn’t have come at a worse time for Nuno Espírito Santo. Coming off the back of a 2-1 loss to fellow promotees Cardiff over the weekend, last year’s Championship winners are now without a win in their last six, losing five of those matchups. Wolves have also now lost their last three matches at Molineux, conceding two or more in each defeat.

Tip: Away win and over 2.5 goals @ 7/4

19:45 Rangers vs Aberdeen

When it was announced that Steven Gerrard would be taking charge at Rangers, few would have expected their start to the season. Now winning their last three league matches on the bounce, scoring 12 goals, the Blues have now leapfrogged bitter-rivals Celtic and now find themselves sat one point cleat at the top of the table. One man who has epitomized Rangers’ transformation under the former England captain has been the start of leading goalscorer Alfredo Morelos. Once again finding the net in the Blues’ 2-1 win over Hearts on Sunday, the 22-year-old has now found the net in each of his last three league appearances. Morelos now sits two goals clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership charts and has also now scored eight goals in his last nine matches at Ibrox. Given Aberdeen’s sluggish start to the season and now losing their last two league matches on the bounce, Morelos should be confident of extending his recent tally on home soil. The Dons have now managed to pick up just one win in their last seven matches on the road, losing four of those outings.

Tip: Alfredo Morelos to score anytime @ 20/21
