Competition: National League

Market: AFC Flyde win

Looking to move one step closer to a Final at Wembley, AFC Flyde will welcome Harrogate to Mill Farm on Wednesday night.

Starting with the hosts, after suffering a 2-0 loss against Halifax on their final matchup of the National League campaign, Dave Challinor will be calling for an immediate response from his side. Aside from their blip over the weekend, it has been an impressive campaign for The Coasters and their form at Mill Fram has played a huge part in their push for the Football League. Flyde have remarkably lost just two of their last 18 matches in West Yorkshire, a run that stems all the way back to November 3rd. One man to watch on Wednesday will be leading goalscorer Danny Rowe, Flyde’s leading man bagged 27 National League goals this season and also finished with the Golden Boot.

As for the visitors, suffering a 2-1 loss away at Wrexham last weekend, it has been a very worrying start to the playoffs for Simon Weaver’s side. Now winning just two of their last nine National League outings, it will be their form on the road most concerning fans around the CNG Stadium. Suffering back-to-back defeats against Wrexham and Leyton Orient, the visitors have recorded just one away victory since the start of Match. With AFC Flyde picking up a 2-1 win when the two sides met back in December, we’re backing a similar outcome on Wednesday night.
