Anthony Elanga goal against former club puts Nottingham Forest within touching distance of Champions League qualification (Video)

Manchester United sold Anthony Elanga to Nottingham Forest in 2023 for around £16million, and the 22-year-old winger made his former club regret that decision by scoring Forest’s winner against them in the fifth minute of their Premier League clash on Tuesday.

The victory over United has put Forest nine points ahead of Manchester City in fifth place, and with the Premier League set to give five teams to next season’s Champions League, Nuno Espirito Santo looks increasingly likely to take his team to UEFA’s elite club competition next season.
