Anthony Martial 6/4 to score anytime against Crystal Palace in Saturday’s Premier League matchup

Competition: Premier League

Market: Anthony Martial to score anytime

Odds: 6/4 @ Bet 365

Desperate to put their Manchester derby heartbreak behind them, Manchester United will host Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon.

Starting with the hosts, with their woeful start of the season epitomized by their 3-1 hammering away at bitter rivals Manchester City prior to the international break, many believe Jose Mourinho’s position at Old Trafford is still untenable. While they might be sat all the way down in eighth and remarkably hold the fourth worst defensive record  in the entire Premier League, Anthony Martial is arguably enjoying his best run in a Manchester United jersey. Scoring from the spot at the Etihad a fortnight ago, the Frenchman is now United’s leading goalscorer. With Romelu Lukaku misfiring, Martial now has six in his last five Premier League starts.

As for the visitors, although their were some signs of promise for Crystal Palace at the start of the season, the Eagles appear to have slipped back to their old ways. Falling to a 1-0 loss against Spurs in the London derby prior to the international break, Palace have now lost their last three on the bounce including crashing out of the EFL Cup at the hands of Championship outfit Middlesbrough. With only their goal difference keeping them out of the relegation zone, many believe that Roy Hodgson could be quickly on his way out of Selhurst Park. Failing to record a clean sheet since September, we’re backing Martial to carry on his recent tally on Saturday.
