Arsenal confirm Vela set for Real Sociedad move

Arsenal forward Carlos Vela is set to complete a loan move to Real Sociedad, the Gunners have confirmed via their official website.

The Mexican striker was expected to be given a chance by Arsene Wenger this season, but the Frenchman has instead kept his faith in Robin van Persie and Marouane Chamakh.

The 22-year-old is now set to be farmed out on loan to Real Sociedad, while his teammate Pedro Botelho will join Rayo Vallecano.

“Everyone at Arsenal Football Club wish Carlos and Pedro the best of luck with their respective clubs for the season ahead,” read a statement on club’s official website.

The highly rated Mexican already has La Liga experience, having been loaned to Salamanca and Osasuna in the past.

Vela spent the second part of last season on loan at West Brom, scoring two goals in eight Premier League appearances.

OVER AGAIN,THERE ARE PLENTY OF GOOD BRITISH MANAGERS OUT THERE THAT WOULD GIVE THEIR RIGHT HAND TO MANAGE ARSENAL.
IF THE BOARD PAYED WENGER OFF,GET RID OF
ALL THE FRADGILE PLAYERS,AND THEM THAT DON’T COME UP TO STANDARD,BRING IN THE
LIKES OF MARK HUGHES,GIVE HIM £100,000,000
TO SPEND,ARSENAL WOULD BE UP THERE WITH
