Arsenal lead race for Feyenoord striker Santiago Gimenez

Arsenal are interested in signing Santiago Gimenez from Feyenoord in the summer transfer window, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that the Gunners are in pole position to secure the services of the Mexico international striker.

Gimenez has been on the books of Feyenoord since 2022 when he moved from Cruz Azul. The 23-year-old has established himself as one of the best young strikers in the Dutch Eredivisie and has been superb for Feyenoord. The youngster scored 23 goals and gave six assists in 29 league starts and scored two goals and provided one assist in four UEFA Champions League matches last season.

The Mexico international striker scored 15 goals and provided two assists in 21 starts and 11 substitute appearances in the Eredivisie for Feyenoord in 2022-23. He also scored five goals in four starts and five substitute appearances in the UEFA Europa League for the Dutch league.
