Odds: 8/15 @ Pribet

Getting their MLS play-off campaign underway in the early hours of Sunday, LA Galaxy will welcome Colorado to Los Angeles.

Starting with the hosts, signing off their regular-season adventure with a 2-1 loss at the hands of Houston, LA Galaxy will be desperately seeking an immediate response here. Winning seven of their final 10 MLS appearances this year, Greg Vanney’s side will certainly be excited to make a return to Los Angeles this weekend. Opening October with a stellar 3-1 romp away at Colorado, the former Toronto boss will be calling on a repeat performance in the early hours of Sunday. Pencilled in as a standout contender here, the American giants have also gained a real reputation for their continued success on home soil. Last seen at Dignity Health Sports Park collecting a 2-1 victory against Austin, LA Galaxy have won each of their previous seven consecutive showdowns in front of their own supporters – a purple patch that stems all the way back to July 5th. It should also be highlighted, Vanney’s men have won 11 of their last 12 appearances in Los Angeles.

As for the visitors, while Colorado might have dragged themselves to a play-off ticket this season, Chris Armas’ side find themselves at the heart of a public crisis. Signing off their regular-campaign adventure with an action-packed 3-2 loss at the hands of Austin, the Denver-based outfit lost each of their final four straight MLS showdowns by an aggregate score of 10-3. Opening up October with that 3-1 drumming at the hands of Sunday’s hosts, the Rapids will be bracing themselves for another heavyweight challenge this weekend. Collecting just three points from any of their final six appearances, Colorado have also continued to show some glaring defensive issues. Including a 4-1 loss against Sporting KC on September 19th, Armas’ side have registered just a sole clean sheet from any of their last 10 matchups across all competitions – a run that stems back to August 18th. It should also be noted, Sunday’s guests have lost all of their last three showdowns outside of Denver by an aggregate score of 10-3.

Bet: LA Galaxy 8/15 to beat Colorado Rapids in Sunday’s MLS play-off battle @ Pribet
