Arteta confident over Aubameyang deal

“I keep being positive, we have held some really good talks with him. I’m pretty confident we will find an agreement soon, that’s my feeling.

“He (Aubameyang) should be very happy he should be able to stay at the club for a very long time and I think people will be delighted with that news.”

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is confident the club will be able to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to a new contract.

The popular forward, who played an integral role in helping Arsenal lift the FA Cup a few weeks ago, has been heavily linked with a move away from the Emirates.

There have been contrasting reports regarding whether or not he actually wants to leave, but ever since their place in the UEFA Europa League was confirmed, the popular theory appears to be that he does, in fact, want to remain in North London ahead of the new season.
