As things stand at the moment, Dusan Vlahovic is set to become a free agent at the end of the season, when his contract with Juventus expires. But according to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Bianconeri hope the Serbian striker will sign a new deal and extend his stay in Turin.
This season could be described as a proper nightmare for Vlahovic. The 26-year-old attacker missed over three months of action after an adductor surgery in December, and having just come back into the fold, he picked up another injury while he was warming up for the Serie A clash against Genoa at the start of April.
Vlahovic, as well as Juventus head coach Luciano Spalletti, believe there is plenty for the Serbia international to prove in a black-and-white shirt. The player also believes that on the sporting side of things, the Allianz Stadium is the right place for him to show his quality. However, it seems Juventus expect Vlahovic to take a significant pay cut, and for the time being, his entourage are considering other options.
One of those is AC Milan, who continue to monitor the situation closely.
