Atletico Madrid welcome Leicester City to the Vicente Calderon in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals on Wednesday night, and are favourites to come out on top given their fine form of late compared to the poor away form of the Foxes.
Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid side booked their place in the last-eight of the Champions League after finishing top of Group D despite a Bayern Munich side breathing down their neck, and dispatched of Bayer Leverkusen in the last-16 to make it this far.
As for the visitors, Leicester City reached the quarter-finals after topping Group G with 13 points, even with FC Porto for company. The Foxes impressively beat Sevilla in the last-16 but their away form could see them fall short.
City have picked up just two away wins in all competitions since September 2016. Leicester have lost five of their last six on the road, and an Atleti side with five wins and a draw from seven home games are 3/10 with Bet 365 to win against the Foxes on Wednesday evening.
