(GSM) – Internazionale president Massimo Moratti says Manchester City target has not been ‘indispensable’ for the achievements of the club.
The Italian champions’ president has given the clearest indication yet that Balotelli is set for a move to Eastlands as Moratti signaled that letting the star leave is ‘almost an obligation’.
Moratti told Sky Italia: “Is it a defeat for Inter? Maybe so, we won’t know until later. Balotelli is a talent that, for myself, is yet to deliver 100 per cent.
“But for all his talent, he was not so indispensable in the achievement of the team.
“Balotelli remains a great talent, but for us it is almost an obligation to let him leave this way.”
Former Internazionale boss Roberto Mancini, who currently coaches City, gave Balotelli his first-team debut at the reigning European champions in 2007.
