Barcelona have to pay €45m for Gabriel Martinelli

Barcelona are interested in signing Gabriel Martinelli from Arsenal in the summer transfer window, according to Fichajes. The Spanish news outlet has claimed that Arsenal want €45 million for the Brazil international winge.

Fichajes has noted: ‘Barcelona’s sports management, under the tactical leadership of Hansi Flick, aim to incorporate players who bring freshness and individual imbalance in the final third of the field. 

‘With the player’s contract approaching its final phase in 2027, interest from Spain has shifted from mere rumours to concrete negotiations.

‘Barcelona sees this market opportunity as unique, as Arsenal’s board seriously considers selling some assets to finance new acquisitions.

‘The price tag for the South American winger is estimated at around €45 million, a competitive figure in today’s football landscape.

‘Hansi Flick particularly values the physical presence and versatility that the 24-year-old forward offers in various attacking positions. 

‘The player’s ability to perform adeptly both on the left flank and in the centre of the box is a key factor.’
