Bayern consider alternatives to Sane

According to a recent report from Sport Bild, Bayern Munich could consider possible alternatives if they are unable to secure the signing of Leroy Sane from Manchester City. The belief is that they are indeed going to get their man, but we all know how complicated these deals can get – especially during the summer transfer window. If it doesn’t wind up happening then they are said to be interested in turning their attention to Yannick Carrasco, who is apparently already in talks with Premier League side Arsenal. PSG midfielder Julian Draxler, who has been heavily linked with a switch to Tottenham Hotspur, could also be an option.

Sane hasn’t quite been able to break into Pep Guardiola’s first team plans on a permanent basis this season, which has left many wondering why he wasn’t sold during the January window. Either way, though, it certainly seems like his immediate future is going to be away from the Etihad.
