Belgium lock horns with Wales at the Grand Stade Lille Métropole for tonight’s quarter-final clash in the European Championships, and are favourites to come out on top to face Portugal in the semis.

The Rode Duivels’s journey to the last eight hasn’t been the most convincing, but they look in better form than ever after an emphatic last-16 win.

Wales made it this far after topping Group B with six points from a possible nine. Chris Coleman’s side beat Slovakia and Russia from their group to progress as winners, and narrowly beat Northern Ireland in the last-16 to make it the quarter-finals.

The Dragons have talisman Gareth Bale, whose three goals have helped Wales make it this far in the tournament, and they’ll be hoping he can produce more magic to see them over the line in what promising to be a difficult affair at the Grand Stade Lille Métropole.

As for opponents Belgium, they finished runners up with six points from their three games – like Wales – but after an opening game defeat have won three games on the bounce without conceding a goal, scoring eight times for their troubles.

And with the likes of Eden Hazard and Kevin De Bruyne supplying the bullets for two-goal striker Romelu Lukaku, Marc Wilmots’ men should have too much for their plucky opposition this evening. As a result, in-form Belgium are being backed by Bet 365 with odds of 17/20 to win against Wales to reach the semi-finals of the 2016 European Championships.
