Berlusconi believes in the Scudetto

(GSM) – Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi believes his side can catch Internazionale and win the Serie A title this season.

The Rossoneri currently lie second in Serie A, just one point adrift of league leaders Internazionale. They return to action on Sunday when they host Napoli.

“I believe in the Scudetto,” Berlusconi said during a political meeting.

“The team has to believe in itself until the end. It would be a shame not to do it now.”

Milan have not lost in their last eight Serie A gamesand have nothing else to play for after being knocked out of the Champions League and the Coppa Italia.

Leonardo’s side has been troubled by injuries though.

Alessandro Nesta faces a battle to be fit in time for the last two games of the season, while Alexandre Pato is still possibly a match away from making his return from a thigh problem.
