Competition: Saudi Pro League

Market: Al-Ettifaq win

Odds: 6/5 @ BetUS

Looking to make it consecutive Pro League victories on Thursday night, Al-Ettifaq will welcome Al-Riyadh to Dammam.

Starting with the hosts, making what was a much-welcomed return to winning ways over the weekend, Al-Ettifaq will now be searching for some curricula stability. Marking their return from March’s international break with an action-packed 3-2 victory at home against Al-Qadsiah, the Greens are now hoping to register consecutive Pro League wins for the first time since the start of February. However, despite their extended issues outside of Dammam, Saad Al-Shehri’s side will be excited by their extended dominance on home soil. Including what was a remarkable 4-3 win against Al-Fateh last month, Thursday’s hosts have registered 13 points from their last five Pro League showdowns at the EGO Stadium. Likewise, continuing on from last season, Al-Ettifaq have lost just one of their previous 11 matchups in Dammam – a run that stems back to the middle of October. Landing a 2-0 victory when they travelled to Riyadh for their reverse Pro League battle in December, the former Saudi Arabia boss will be dreaming of a repeat outcome in midweek.

As for the visitors, enduring what has been a public Pro League struggle this season, Al-Riyadh have a major battle on their hands in the race to keep hold of their top-flight status in 2026. Opening Thursday’s showdown sat two points adrift of safety, Maurício Dulac’s side have continued to show a string of major issues. In fact, they have remarkably claimed just a pair of wins from any of their previous 22 consecutive appearances across all competitions – a rut that stems all the way back to October 23rd. Likewise, last seen away from the Prince Turki bin Abdul Aziz Stadium getting hit with a routine 3-0 drumming against Damac, Al-Riyadh have gained a reputation for their struggles on the road. It should be noted, the midweek guests have claimed just a sole Pro League win on their travels so far this season. Along with that 2-0 loss when they welcomed Al-Ettifaq to town back in December, they will be concerned by a nightmare recent record against Thursday’s opponents. Registering just one-point from any of their previous four meetings, we are backing a home victory on Thursday night.

Bet: Al-Ettifaq 6/5 to beat Al-Riyadh in Thursday’s Saudi Pro League battle @ BetUS
