Competition: MLS

Market: Both teams to score – No

Odds: 8/7 @ 888sport

Trying to find a route into the Final Series spots this weekend, Inter Miami will make the trip to Soldier Field in the early hours of Sunday when they meet Chicago.

Starting with the hosts, while Chicago might have managed to salvage another point on the road last weekend, the Fire are in the midst of an extended rut. Now playing out back-to-back 0-0 stalemates away at Columbus and New England, Ezra Hendrickson’s men are battling it out at the foot of the Eastern Conference table. Crashing back down to earth after their much-needed purple patch when heading into August, fans around Soldier Field find their side in the midst of a five-match winless run. Likewise, along with drawing back-to-back blanks while on MLS duties, Chicago have shown a string of issues in the final third. It should be highlighted, Sunday’s hosts have failed to bag a single strike in any of their last four straight domestic appearances.

As for the visitors, while Inter Miami might still have their sights set on clinching a Final Series spot this season, Phil Neville’s men have continued to struggle with their consistency. Last seen getting hit with a 1-0 loss away at Columbus, the one-time Manchester United defender has seen his side suffer back-to-back MLS defeats. While the Herons might be smelling a chance here, they have gained a reputation for their struggles on the road. It should be highlighted, Sunday’s guests have managed to win just one of their previous 12 straight contests outside of Florida, a run that stems all the way back to April 19th. Likewise, with Sunday’s opponents playing out a cagey 0-0 stalemate when they last faced off back in February, we’re backing a similar outcome here.

Bet: Both teams *not* to score at Chicago Fire vs Inter Miami 8/7 for Sunday’s MLS showdown @ 888sport
