Bitesize Prediction: Ludogorets vs Anderlecht – 16/02/23

Competition: Europa Conference League

Market: Both teams to score

Odds: 5/6 @ 888sport

In what could prove to be a lively Conference League showdown on Thursday night, Ludogorets will welcome Anderlecht to the Huvepharma Arena.

Starting with the hosts, marking their return from the extended winter break with a rugged display over the weekend, Ludogorets will be desperate to claim a first-leg advantage on Thursday night. Eventually securing a lively 2-1 win away at Spartak Varna, Ante Simundza’s side have continued to impress on either side of the World Cup interval. Once again tipped as a standout pick to defend their domestic crown in 2023, the Bulgarian giants are unbeaten in each of their previous seven contests. Although the Razgrad-based outfit might have been disappointed after losing their Europa League status last year, Ludogorets could be fancying a deep run this time around. However, it should be highlighted, Simundza’s men have seen three of their last four appearances at the Huvepharma Arena finish with both teams finding the net.

As for the visitors, eventually punching their knockout stage ticket behind Premier League outfit West Ham, Anderlecht are enjoying what has been an extended flurry. While the Belgium heavyweights might have opened 2023 enduring a continued blip, Brian Riemer’s men should find the mood in their camp at a recent high. Last seen over the weekend picking up some perfect momentum as they cruised their way to a 3-1 victory at home against St. Truiden, the Purples have collected 10 points from their previous four First Division appearances. With a 1-1 draw away at Club Brugge on January 15th the only minor blip on their record, Anderlecht open Thursday’s trip to Bulgaria tipped as a standout pick. In what could prove to be a lively affair from the Huvepharma Arena, we’re backing both teams to find the net here.

Bet: Both teams to score at Ludogorets vs Anderlecht 5/6 for Thursday’s Conference League showdown @ 888sport
