Competition: Brazil Serie B

Market: Paysandu draw no bet

Odds: 4/7 @ BetUS

Two sides who are looking to drag themselves away from a potential Serie B relegation scrap, Paysandu will welcome CRB to the Estadio da Curuzu in the early hours of Wednesday.

Starting with the hosts, while Paysandu might have a real battle on their hands to keep hold of their Serie B status this season, the Wolfs will take plenty of positives away from what has become a recent flurry. Last seen over the weekend putting in a stellar performance as they secured an action-packed 5-3 victory away at Ituano, Heilo dos Anjos’ men should find the mood in their camp at a real high. Dragging themselves out of the relegation zone, the Belem-based outfit will certainly be smelling the chance to make another statement here. Making real history on May 30th as they were crowned Copa Verde champions thanks to a 4-0 romp against Vila Nova, Wednesday’s hosts have now won three of their previous four appearances across all competitions. Likewise, opening June with a deserved 2-0 win at home against America MG, Paysandu have suffered just a single defeat from any of their last eight consecutive outings – a run that stems back to May 12th.

As for the visitors, while CRB might have shown some real resilience when opening up the 2024 campaign, Daniel Paulista’s men have come crashing back down to earth in a worrying fashion. Last seen over the weekend suffering a second-half collapse away at America MG as they eventually fell to a 2-1 loss, the Alagoas-based outfit have now lost all of their previous four appearances across all competitions. Crashing out of the Copa do Nordeste on June 9th following penalties heartbreak at home against Fortaleza, the former Sport Recife boss will also have a mounting headache over his side’s extended defensive struggles. Opening June with a rollercoaster 4-2 loss against Ponte Preta, Wednesday’s guests have shipped nine goals on their four-match losing rut. Likewise, it should also be noted that CRB have lost all of their last three straight showdowns away from the Rei Pele by an aggregate score of 8-3. Given the recent gulf in class, we are backing a home draw no bet here.

Bet: Paysandu draw no bet against CRB 4/7 for Wednesday’s Brazil Serie B matchup @ BetUS
