Competition: League Two

Market: Bradford City draw no bet

Odds: 21/20 @ 888sport

Looking to extend on their recent purple patch in midweek, a high-flying Bradford will travel to Walsall on Tuesday night.

Starting with the hosts, while Walsall might have opened 2023 enjoying what was a hugely impressive run of form, the Saddlers have come crashing back down to earth in recent times. Last seen over the weekend putting in another downbeat display on home soil as they slumped to a 1-0 loss at home against Barrow, Michael Flynn’s men find themselves sat in League Two limbo. In fact, the Midlands-based outfit have failed to win any of their last 10 straight matchups across all formats – a run that stems all the way back to January 8th. Facing what should be another stern test on Tuesday night, the one-time Newport boss will have a headache over his side’s extended struggles on home soil. Including last weekend’s 1-0 loss at the hands of Barrow, Walsall have recorded just a single win at the Bescot Stadium since opening the New Year.

As for the visitors, while Walsall might be in the midst of an extended rut, Bradford are enjoying what has been a stellar purple patch. Last seen over the weekend putting in another dominant display on home soil as they picked up a 2-0 victory against Colchester, Mark Hughes should find the mood in his camp at a real high. With their sights firmly set on securing a League One return in 2023, the one-time Manchester City boss has seen his high-flying squad win five of their previous six matchups across all formats. With their continued flurry highlighted by an action-packed 3-2 victory away at Stevenage last month, Bradford will be smelling the chance to make another statement on Tuesday night. Likewise, including back-to-back 2-1 victories against Walsall, Hughes’ side are unbeaten in each of their last six straight meetings against the midweek hosts.

Bet: Bradford City draw no bet against Walsall 21/20 for Tuesday’s League Two battle @ 888sport
