France manager Laurent Blanc has included striker Louis Saha in his 23-man squad for Wednesday’s friendly with Germany at the Weserstadion.

Les Bleus will have a new-look side in Germany as Loic Remy, Karim Benzema, Lassana Diarra and Abou Diaby have all been ruled out due to injury.

Morgan Amalfitano has earned his first call-up after impressing for Marseille since arriving at the club in the off-season.

Tottenham striker Saha makes a return to the France set-up almost two years after his last appearance, in the Euro 2012 qualifier against Belarus.

France – who finished at the top of their Euro 2012 qualifying group – will meet Ukraine, Sweden and England in the European Championships in mid-year.

France squad: Cedric Carrasso, Hugo Lloris, Steve Mandanda, Eric Abidal, Mathieu Debuchy, Patrice Evra, Philippe Mexes, Adil Rami, Anthony Reveillere, Mamadou Sakho, Morgan Amalfitano, Yohan Cabaye, Alou Diarra, Yann M’Vila, Florent Malouda, Marvin Martin, Samir Nasri, Mathieu Valbuena, Kevin Gameiro, Olivier Giroud, Jeremy Menez, Franck Ribery, Louis Saha.
