Serie A outfit Fiorentina are closing in on Galatasaray midfielder Blerim Dzemaili, according to Turkish newspaper Haber7.
The 28-year-old only left Italy in the summer as he joined Galatasaray from Napoli, but it appears he could be returning to Serie A as early as January.
Haber7 has learned that Fiorentina have all but agreed to sign the experienced footballer for a fee of €3 million.
Blerim Dzemaili came through the youth ranks at FC Zurich and went on to make 111 league appearances for the club before joining Bolton in 2007.
The Switzerland international left the Trotters without making a single Premier League appearance two years later, but he later managed to kick-start his career while at Parma.
Dzemaili, who scored 3 goals in 39 matches for Switzerland, moved to Napoli in 2011 and went on to spend three years at Stadio San Paolo, making 86 league appearances and scoring 16 goals in total.
