Competition: Irish Premier Division

Market: Bohemians win

Odds: 11/8 @ Bet 365

Extending their unbeaten run in midweek, Bohemians will travel to Turner’s Cross on Friday night.

Starting with the hosts, while Cork City may have managed to secure a second-place finish last season, John Caulfield’s men have drastically struggled this year. Coming off the back of another lackluster display in their 4-1 hammering at home to Derry on Monday, the Rebel Army are enduring a six-match losing run that stems all the way back to the 20th of May. Also now losing their last two consecutive matches at Turner’s Cross, Friday night could prove to be another extremely testing night for the former Irish champions.

As for the visitors, while Bohemians would have been disappointed to have only taken a point off of Derry earlier in the week, Keith Long’s men still find their confidence at a high. Now sat in pole position to secure European football for Dalymount Park next year, a huge part of their recent revival has come thanks to their form in the final third. Scoring two or more goals in four of their last five appearances, including in their eye-catching 2-1 win over Shamrock last month, Bohemians will also be boosted by their last showing against Friday’s hosts. Picking up a 2-0 win over Cork and securing a League Cup semi-final next month, we’re backing a similar result this weekend.
