Desperately looking to refind their form at the back end of the season, Sydney will travel to a struggling Brisbane on Friday morning.

Starting with Friday’s hosts, slumping to a 2-1 loss away at Melbourne Victory last time out, Brisbane have continued with their struggles at the back end of the campaign. Now holding just a five-point buffer over fellow strugglers Central Coast Mariners, the Roar have lost three of their last four and their defensive issues will still be a huge headache for Darren Davies. Now remarkably unable to record an A-League clean sheet since the 24th of November, the Oranges have also now conceded 14 goals in just their last four appearances.

As for the visitors, suffering a 2-0 loss at home to Melbourne City a fortnight ago, Sydney know they must improve on their form if they want to book a return to the AFC Champions League. Picking up just a single win in March, Graham Arnold will also be looking for his side to improve on their form on the road. The Blues have lost three of their last four matches away from Netstrata Jubilee Stadium. One man to watch will be leading goalscorer and former Bolton man Adam Le Fondre. The 32-year-old has already bagged 14 goals this season. With the last three contests between the two sides ending by a score of 2-1 we’re backing a similar outcome at the Suncorp Stadium on Friday morning.
