Two sides who are desperate to secure Premiership status for next year, St. Mirren will travel to Tannadice Park on Thursday night.

Starting with the hosts, coming off the back of a very impressive 3-0 win over Inverness last week and booking their spot in the play-off final, Jim McIntyre will be desperate for his side to keep up their momentum. Winning four of their last five and really starting to shine in the final third, a huge part of Dundee’s end of year success has come down to their continued showings at Tannadice Park. Thursday’s hosts are enjoying a three-match winning run in front of their own supporters and have scored two or more goals in each of those victories.

As for the visitors, while St Mirren may have managed to pick up a 3-2 win away at Dundee United last weekend, Oran Kearney’s side would have been incredibly disappointed to have finished the year in the final relegation spot. Undoubtedly saving their best performances for the back end of the season, the Buddies have now picked up back-to-back victories and Thursday’s visitors are yet to taste defeat since the 3rd of April. Fans around Paisley will also be growing more impressed by their sides’ recent showings on the road. St Mirren have lost just one of their last seven matches away the Simple Digital Arena, a run that stems back to the start of February.
