Both teams to score at Preston vs Derby 8/11 for Friday’s Championship clash

Competition: Championship

Market: Both teams to score

Odds: 8/11 @ Bet 365

Two sides enjoying a bright run of form, Frank Lampard’s Derby side will travel to Deepdale on Friday night.

Starting with the hosts, although many around Deepdale would have been concerned by Preston’s form entering 2019, Alex Neil’s side have recently shown plenty of improvement. Coming off the back of a 2-0 win away at Stoke last weekend, the Whites have now won their last two matches on the bounce, including a very impressive 4-1 win away at QPR. Yet to be beaten in the Championship since New Year’s Day, the duo of Alan Browne and Brad Potts are enjoying a purple patch this season. Both have now recorded four goals in their last two appearances.

As for the visitors, booking their spot in the fifth-round of this year’s FA Cup, the mood in Frank Lampard’s camp will be on a high. Now winning their last three matches on the bounce, including a penalties victory over Premier League outfit Southampton, the Rams will have the chance to leapfrog Middlesbrough on Friday night. While Derby might have managed to record just one clean sheet in their last eight outings, Lampard will be impressed by the ongoing form of Liverpool loanee, Harry Wilson. The 21-year-old has now bagged three goals in his last four appearances.
